Veterinary Associates Animal Hospital understands that your animal’s illness and/or injury does not always happen during office hours. We are able to be on call for your large animal emergencies from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. and for small animal emergencies from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. We will do our very best to work our daytime emergencies into our already scheduled appointments, but sometimes it is in the patient’s best interest to go to a referral hospital. Fortunately, we are located just an hour away from The Ohio State Veterinary Hospital for Large animal emergencies and have access to two small animal emergency hospitals nearby. If your emergency occurs outside our office hours you will be connected to a licensed veterinarian or veterinary technician that will help triage your emergency and determine the best course of action for your animal companion or farm animal.

Please note that we only provide after hours emergency service for current clients only. In the case of an emergency for a non-client, please use these local emergency centers.

We are on-call from close of business until 9:00 pm for Farm and Equine Animals. (Existing patients only)
We are on-call from close of business until 9:00 pm for small animals. (Existing patients only)
We are on call on Sunday from 6am-9pm for farm and equine animals and 8am-9pm for small animals.
